TRPC1 and TRPC6 mutations mainly occurred in cervical adenocarcinoma, while TRPC4, TRPV (Liberati et al., 2013; Olusola et al., 2019; Buskwofie et al., 2020) and TRPM (Erin, 2020; So et al., 2020) were mainly mutated in cervical squamous cell carcinoma, which indicated that TRPs mutations could be one of the causes of cervical cancer. The gene discussed is TRPC6; the disease is cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
