Glycolytic glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) contains two of the frailty-related CpGs (cg00252813 and cg02519286) and has been found to be likely related to the pathogeneses of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Huntington’s disease31,32, various forms of cancers33, and neurodegenerative disorders33. This evidence concerns the gene GAPDH and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
