Across the sample of survey respondents at least 30 different medications to manage diabetes including insulins (rapid-acting, long-acting and combination), biguanides (such as Metformin), dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors, glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, sulfonylureas and sodium-glucose transporter (SGLT) 2 inhibitors were identified (respondents may be taking more than one type of medication and therefore, the percentage counts in Table 2 may not equal 100) (Table 2).
