APOE and peripheral arterial disease: Inhibition of TRPC6 channel activity by pyrazol‐2 (Pyr2; BTP2; YM‐58483) improved blood flow recovery after hindlimb ischaemia in Apolipoprotein E‐knockout (ApoE‐KO) mice, suggesting a new therapeutic potential of TRPC6 inhibition for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease patients with hypercholesterolemia.
