The noted discrepancy of the partial recovery of serum creatinine and the apparent complete improvement in proteinuria in the G‐CSF group is concordant with the recently described and still underinvestigated “nonproteinuric chronic kidney disease,” which is reported to have less renal histopathological changes and better prognosis than the classic chronic kidney disease with proteinuria (Yamanouchi et al., 2020). The gene discussed is CSF3; the disease is chronic kidney disease.
