By further investigating the mechanism by which SLC2A1 affects prognosis, we learned that SLC2A1 is closely related to HK family proteins [32]; therefore, we explored the epigenetic modification of SLC2A1, which has been shown in past studies to be hypermethylated with high levels of transcription, and the protein level is high in colon cancer [33].
