COX4I2 and colorectal carcinoma: Based on the results of the enrichment analysis and observed correlation between COX4I2 and FGF1 in CRC patient sera, we speculated that FGF1 may be involved in some of the cancer-associated behaviors regulated by COX4I2. Subsequently, we further verified the correlation of COX4I2 with FGF1 using culture supernatants (Fig. 5k), mouse sera (Fig. 5l), mouse tumors (Fig. 5m), and CRC tissues (Fig. 5n, o).
