The expression levels of apoptosis-related proteins (caspase-12, caspase-9, cleaved-caspase-3, Bad, Bax, and Bcl-2) were significantly increased in the PCOS group, whereas the expression of these proteins was markedly decreased in ovarian tissue after curcumin treatment (Supplemental Figures 4C–4F). The gene discussed is FAM215A; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
