In this study, TRIB3, a 45 kDa pseudokinase identified as a target of miR-182-5p, was demonstrated to regulate metabolism and insulin signaling in diabetes-injured tissues, including liver, adipose tissue, heart, and skeletal muscle, and to be induced in a variety of cell types under different conditions of stress, including ER stress, nutrient deprivation, and oxidative stress [37–39]. This evidence concerns the gene INS and diabetes mellitus.
