However, T2D (odds ratio [OR] 3.77; 95% CI 1.15–12.32; p = 0.028), albumin <4 g/L (OR 4.43; 95% CI 1.76–11.17; p = 0.002) and FIB-4 score >2.67 (OR 15.74; 95% CI 2.01–123.22; p = 0.009) were identified as risk factors for a first LRE in the multivariable analysis.
