In summary, our research demonstrates that patients with KRAS mutations or EGFR wild-type NSCLC may benefit from PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors and that PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors in combination with chemotherapy seem to be more successful than chemotherapy alone in NSCLC patients with EGFR mutations. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
