Our meta-analysis indicates that the lack of benefit from single-agent PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors (HR, 1.11; 95% CI, (0.80, 1.53)) compared to chemotherapy in patients with NSCLC who had an EGFR mutation might well be partly explained by reduced PD-L1 expression. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
