We observed that CSMD2 expression was negatively correlated with infiltration of anti-tumor immune cells, including CD8+ T cells, activated memory CD4+ T cells, M1 macrophages, activated NK cells, follicular helper T cells, and gamma delta T cells, as well as positively correlated with immune evasion- or suppression-associated cells, including CAFs, endothelial cells, Tregs, and M2 macrophages in most cancers. This evidence concerns the gene CSMD2 and cancer.
