Kaplan–Meier single-factor analysis using either a >10% or >20% cut-off and associated log-rank tests revealed that cases showing STAT6-positive expression demonstrated a longer progression-free survival time than those with STAT6-negative expression (>10%, p = 0.012; >20%, p = 0.025) (results for the >10% threshold are shown in Figure 6), suggesting that STAT6 expression may be an important predictive factor in early gastric carcinoma.
