This study showed that, patients with CHD compared to patients without CHD, had significantly higher urinary levels of kidney injury molecule-1/creatinine (KIM-1/Cr) and significantly lower urinary concentrations of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2 (TIMP-2) and insulin-like growth factor binding protein 7 (IGFBP7).
