Diabetes mellitus (DM) (p=0.03), hypertension (HTN) (p=0.003), CKD (p=0.004), post-renal transplant patients (p=0.047), hypothyroidism (p=0.02), total leucocyte count (TLC) (p<0.001), neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) (p<0.001), aspartate transaminase (AST) (p=0.004), urea (p<0.001), creatinine (p=0.004), c-reactive protein (CRP) (p<0.001), interleukin-6 (IL-6) (p=0.001), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) (p=0.03), and ferritin (p=0.01) were associated with the need for oxygenation among hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Here, CRP is linked to chronic kidney disease.
