Although breast cancers are not as immunogenic as other solid tumors that have benefited from immunotherapies, such as renal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), or melanoma, evidence shows that TNBC and HER2+ are more immunogenic than the hormone-positive subtypes, and the study of the TNBC immunologic landscape has provided valuable information on immunogenicity and immune activity (Liu et al., 2018). Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast cancer.
