The results of univariate and multifactorial analyses for development of pneumonia (Table 3) show that progressive stage, bone marrow involvement, lung involvement, > 1 site of extranodal involvement, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) score > 1, B symptoms, large masses, chronic respiratory disease, low ALB, and low LMR were significantly associated with development of pneumonia. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is pneumonia.
