CD8A and neoplasm: Tumor cells from nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients show a high degree of intratumor and intertumor heterogeneity, and are characterized by T-cell clones and extended distribution of individual tumors, providing insights into the mechanisms by which immune cells clear tumors and improving NPC targeting and immunotherapy (15). CD8+ TILs and their TCR libraries may be the basis of antitumor immune responses in different hosts, which may have important implications for the development of personalized immunotherapies for cancer (16).
