In a xenograft (PDX) orthotopic GBM mouse model derived from patient cells, the direct blockade of αv integrin or TGF-β or TGF-β receptor 2 (TGFBR2) on the allogeneic NK cells can abrogate the GSC-induced NK cell dysfunction completely, resulting in the effective control of the tumor. Here, TGFB1 is linked to glioblastoma.
