Analysis indicated that hs-CRP (odds ratio (OR) 1.386, 95% CI 1.156–1.662, P = 0.017), Hcy (OR 1.220, 95% CI 1.101–1.351, P = 0.006), and IL-6 (≥3.5 pg/mL vs. <3.5 pg/mL: OR 0.154, 95% CI 0.064–0.373, P = 0.001) were independent risk factors for CHD in patients with anxiety disorders after adjusting sex, age, smoking status, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension (Table 2).
