ALB and myocardial ischemia: The highest AUC of 0.809 (95% CI 0.726–0.892) was reported in predicting MACE in patients with symptoms of myocardial ischemia, which was comparable with the predictability of other established biomarkers such as brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), NT-proBNP, highly sensitive cardiac troponin I (hs-cTI), CK-MB, myoglobin, and ischemia modified albumin (IMA) in related cardiac risk assessment.
