Upregulation of miR‐155 inhibits SH2 domain‐containing inositol 5’‐phosphate 1 protein (SHIP1)‐phosphoinositide 3‐kinase (PI3K)‐alpha serine/threonine kinase (AKT) pathway and significantly reduces apoptosis in CLL and AML cells [40, 41].
