ALB and infection: There were significant differences in age (P < 0.001), preoperative red blood cell count (P = 0.041), preoperative albumin level (P < 0.001), number of surgical fusion segments (P < 0.001), intraoperative dural tears (P < 0.001), presence of diabetes (<0.001), history of rheumatic disease (P = 0.002), ASA grade (P = 0.01) between the infection group and the noninfection group, but there were no significant differences in other variables between the two groups (Table 1).
