Analysis of ligands targeting other components of the SGLT2 network besides SGLT2 or SGLT1 revealed that ertugliflozin, sergliflozin etabonate, and dapagliflozin have additional targets associated with hypertensive disease, diabetes mellitus, diabetes, hyperglycemia, impaired glucose tolerance, diabetes mellitus, non-insulin-dependent, diabetic nephropathy, and hypoglycemia. This evidence concerns the gene SLC5A1 and diabetic kidney disease.
