GO and KEGG analysis showed that the terms of nicotine addiction (hsa05033), transmitter-gated ion channel activity (GO:0022824), transmitter-gated channel activity (GO:0022835), extracellular ligand-gated ion channel activity (GO:0005230), calyx of Held (GO:0044305), ion channel complex (GO:0034702), transmembrane transporter complex (GO:1902495), and substrate-specific channel activity (GO:0022838) were significantly upregulated in high-risk patients (Supplementary Figure 2B). Here, GLRA3 is linked to nicotine dependence.
