In this research, we examined the effect of iron on the gene expression of major channels (IP3R1/2/3, RYR1, and RYR2), pumps (SERCA1/2/3, PMCA1/2/3, and PMCA4), and exchangers (NCX1/2, and NCX3) involved in the calcium regulation process in ovarian cancer cells and cisplatin resistant ovarian cancer cells. The gene discussed is ATP2B4; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
