F3 and myocardial infarction: Öhlin et al reported that sTM antigen in plasma is increased in patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with thrombolytic therapy.109van Dreden et al studied plasma levels of 10 coagulation factors and analyzed the activity of plasma tissue factor (TFa), sTM, and procoagulant phospholipid in patients with acute myocardial infarction at the time of hospital admission.110It was found that plasma levels of TFa, sTM, and procoagulant phospholipid were significantly higher in cases of acute myocardial infarction than in healthy volunteers.
