CACNA2D4 and neoplasm: With the exception of JPH1 (targeted by miR-145 to favor tumor-suppression), CACNA2D4 (mitigation of the adverse effects of chemotherapy in BRD9, gastric cancer), and TRPM5 (the Ca2+-dependent regulation of inflammatory responses and the production of mucin), there are no clear molecular mechanisms cited to explain the improved patient survival observations in the present study.
