A study of TRP-family-mRNA expression by Qin et al. [143], revealed that TRPM2-expression was upregulated in breast cancer (ductal carcinoma and invasive breast cancer), small-cell, lung carcinoma, colorectal cancer (colon and caecum adenocarcinoma), gastric cancer, and melanoma. The gene discussed is TRPM2; the disease is adenocarcinoma.
