To examine the anti-cancer potential of pharmacological inhibition of FADS1, we used a FADS1 inhibitor (D5D-IN-326) to examine the cell proliferation in cell lines of multiple cancer types, including renal (786-O, ACHN), colon (HT-29), lung (A549), breast (MCF-7), prostate (PC3) and glioblastoma (T98G) cell lines (Figure 10B).
