In the future, we could study the correlation between the memory function of CD4+ T cells, CD4+/CD8+, and visual space domain and memory T cells (CD4+ CD45RO+ T cells, CD8+ CD28− T cells) to explore the mechanism of accelerated immune aging and cognitive impairment in patients with SLE, especially in attention disorder, memory, and visual space domain. This evidence concerns the gene CD28 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
