These sICs and cytokines were adjusted for age, sex, ANC, and comorbidities including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, tuberculosis, and others (hyperlipidemia, hypothyroidism, and asthma) for multivariate analysis; all five sICs (sCD27, sCD40, sTIM3, sCTLA-4, and LAG-3) and four cytokines (CCL2, GM-CSF, IL-10, and IL-8) were significantly associated with OS. This evidence concerns the gene CSF2 and tuberculosis.
