Most of the patients (75%) had multiple-need malnutrition and the deficiencies identified were the following: zinc (68%); vitamin A (36%); vitamin D (34%); albumin (29%); copper (27%); vitamins B3 and B6 (12% each); and iron, ferritin, folic acid, vitamins B1, B12, C and E and selenium (1% or less each).
