APOB and cardiovascular disorder: Meta-analyses investigating the effects of nut and seed consumption on biomarkers for disease (intermediary outcomes) related to cardiovascular disease generally reported favorable effects on blood lipid profile (linked with reduced risk of diseases), particularly for total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, and apoB (56, 59, 62, 69–71, 75, 77, 79, 81, 85, 93, 99–101, 105) (Table 1).
