Interestingly, the group with low COL3A1 expression had a higher immune score (p < 0.0001) but not stromal score (p = 0.075), relative to the high‐expression group, suggesting that HNSCC patients with low COL3A1 levels had more activated immune status in TIM than their counterparts (Figure 3C,D). This evidence concerns the gene COL3A1 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
