To further evaluate expression of CD105 in human GBM, analysis of 163 GBM patients from the The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database (https://www.cancer.gov/about-nci/organization/ccg/research/structural-genomics/tcga) and 207 normal brain samples from Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) database showed CD105 RNA expression to be significantly higher in GBM tissue compared to normal brain (P < 0.05) (Fig. 1E, Additional file 3: Fig S1C). The gene discussed is ENG; the disease is glioblastoma.
