A study of EBV infection in patients showed that the 25 cases among 52 patients who received immunohistochemical staining for Epstein–Barr encoded RNA (EBER) or EBV-latent membrane protein (LMP) in biopsy specimens included 12 positive cases (48.0%) and 13 negative cases (52.0%). This evidence concerns the gene PDLIM7 and Epstein-Barr virus infection.
