The results of qRT-PCR and Western blotting experiments showed that after the intervention of the GLP-1 receptor agonist liraglutide, the expressions of PI3K (0.46 ± 0.06), Akt (0.30 ± 0.03), and mTOR (0.40 ± 0.05) proteins in CRC cells were decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05), as shown in Figure 5A,B. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
