ZEB1 (also known as δEF1, AREB6, ZFHEP, ZFHX1A, BZP, NIL-2-A, and DeltaEF1) is a member of the zinc finger E-box binding protein family transcription factors that has critical functions in the metastasis of some epithelial cancers, such as pancreatic cancer [12], prostate cancer [13], epithelial ovarian cancer [14], and nonsmall cell lung cancers [15].
