Mechanotransduction in cancer cells contain variable processes of physical structure rearrangement that force chemical stimulation and cause signal transduction of cell function (16, 17). Our results show that vimentin upregulation and cytoskeleton remodeling are the novel tumor suppression strategy for enhancing immune cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Both silencing of vimentin and inhibiting the formation of actin filaments increased cytotoxicity of NK cells. Here, VIM is linked to neoplasm.
