Our results also demonstrated that as a nutritious amino acid, glutamine could activate the AKT/mTOR/S6K pathway, a classic nutritional pathway for cell proliferation,33 and mTOR could also regulate cell cycle-related proteins, which promote MSC transformation from the G1 phase to the S phase of the cell cycle, accompanied by an increase in DNA synthesis.34 In an in vivo study, we established a uremia model and tumor infiltration model as a high-level ammonia model.
