Furthermore, TLR4, MyD88, and NF-κB levels in the small intestine of HF rats were significantly reduced after TAK-242 intervention, implying that TAK-242 improvement in HF rats may play a role by inhibiting the inflammatory response mediated by the TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway via the liver-gut axis.
