Figure 4 showed that compared with the control group, EGCG-NPs maintained stable higher levels of SOD, GSH, and T-AOC in both serum and tissues than those in the AD group, especially on day 7 (P > 0.05). On the contrary, the serum and tissue MDA content after AD was significantly increased on day 7 (P < 0.001) and day 21 (P < 0.001), whereas EGCG-NPs inhibited the increase of MDA activity in serum and tissue to normal level at the end of the experiment (P > 0.05).
