CD79A and COVID-19: To our knowledge, only two other studies have evaluated the presence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in breastmilk after a booster dose: a study of four individuals conducted by Leung et al., which also showed that booster dose is able to re-trigger the secretion of neutralizing IgA in breastmilk [32], and a preprint study of 12 participants also depicting increase in SARS-CoV-2 RBD-specific IgA and IgG antibodies in breast milk from lactating women following the COVID-19 booster vaccination [33].
