The overall study population was composed of 41 patients (25 males, 66.8 ± 9.9 years) with different types of cancer (lung, breast, melanoma, mesothelioma and nasopharynx), the majority with lung cancer, who reported lung toxicity during treatment with PD-1, PDL-1 and CTLA-4 inhibitors. This evidence concerns the gene CTLA4 and lung carcinoma.
