CCL2 and coronary atherosclerosis: Thus, the aim of our study was to study the levels of adipokines and markers of inflammation (C-peptide, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucagon, interleukin-6 (IL-6), insulin, leptin, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α)) as well as their associations with unstable atherosclerotic plaques in men with coronary atherosclerosis against the background of abdominal obesity.
