APOB and acute coronary syndrome: The ODYSSEY outcomes (evaluation of cardiovascular outcomes after an acute coronary syndrome during treatment with alirocumab) trial was a multicenter double-blinded placebo-controlled trial with a median duration of 2.8 years follow-up involving 18,924 patients with a history of an acute coronary syndrome in the last 12 months, LDL-C at least 70 mg/dL, or non-HDL-C at least 100 mg/dL/or apoB level of at least 80 mg/dL on high-intensity or maximally tolerated dose of statin.
