Apart from 33 DEGs assigned the unaffected pathogenicity or increased virulence category, there were 29 upregulated genes involved in loss of pathogenicity or reduced virulence, including 4 cytochrome P450s, 2 ABC multidrug transporters, 2 C6 zinc finger domain-containing proteins (transcription factors), and several hydrolases/substrate degradation enzymes involved in fungal infection. This evidence concerns the gene C6 and fungal infectious disease.
