Moreover, in a triple-negative breast cancer xenograft mouse model with strong membranous CD138 expression (>75% of positive cells), assessed by IHC, indatuximab ravtansine was highly effective, leading to strong inhibition of tumor growth and complete remission (>95% reduction of median tumor volume in relation to controls), while the effect on tumor inhibition was markedly lower but still detectable in a triple-negative breast cancer xenograft with weak CD138 expression (<25% of positive cells) [24].
