The Western blot analysis data show an apparent reduction in the GPX4 level after being treated with 5 μM of Erastin or RSL3 in all tested HNSCC cell lines (CAL33, AMC-HN-8, and CNE-2), where 1 μM of RSL3 but not Erastin decreased GPX4 in CAL33 and CNE-2 cells (Figure 5A–C). This evidence concerns the gene GPX4 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
