Aroclor1260 exposure significantly induced various manifestations of hepatic steatosis (Figure 1B–F), including liver volume and weight gain (Figure S1A,B), increased vacuolization/lipid accumulation (Figure 1B,C), hepatic TG (Figure 1D), hepatic FFA (Figure 1E) and elevated plasma levels of native FGF21 (Figure 1F), which is a potential plasma marker for diagnosing NAFLD, in the mice fed a HFD but not those fed a SD.
